Teacher's Comments

Our class is named after Emmeline Pankhurst, who is remembered for confidently leading an organisation whose aim was to gain equal voting rights for women. Emmeline gave speeches encouraging women to take action in order to achieve this goal. As a class, we hope like Emmeline Pankhurst to become confident in our aim to achieve or exceed our own personal goals and targets.

Within our school's fun and intuitive curriculum, we will therefore challenge ourselves to accomplish our best. Essentially, our creative themes and topics are enjoyable, exciting and engaging. Everyone is encouraged to explore, investigate and question the world around them.

We will keep you informed of our learning, themes and events throughout the year and would like you to work in partnership with us. We are very optimistic that everyone in Pankhurst Class will have a wonderful and happy learning experience in Year Four.
