Teacher's Comments

Welcome to passionate Palin Class. We are named after Sir Michael Palin. He is a man of many talents, such as acting, presenting, writing and exploring. Sir Michael Palin received a knighthood in 2019 for his services to travel, culture and Geography.

Seeking adventure, Sir Michael Palin has travelled around the world. He trekked through the largest desert, the sweltering Sahara. He climbed the highest mountains of the Himalaya region. He explored bustling Brazil and he visited North Korea. Amazingly, he navigated himself around the world in 80 days, without using aircraft. He managed to travel from the North pole to the South pole and he circumnavigated the lands around the Pacific Ocean, anti-clockwise.

Like our idol, Sir Michael Palin, we will be going on our own learning adventure in Year 2. We will be exploring exciting topics such as the Tudors, beachcombers, jungle habitats, street detectives, and many more.

In Palin class, we have a positive attitude to our learning development. We work collaboratively to enhance our learning experiences. We support and encourage each other in everything we do. Each one of us is unique and we take pride in that. Please come and visit proud Palin class to explore and celebrate our differences.
