Teacher's Comments

Welcome to our Proud Paddington class. We are named after Paddington station and Paddington bear, which resembles a caring environment for our learning journey.

Our classroom is lively and energetic, where humour and giggles are present. This encourages an environment for openness and excitement for children to begin their very first step to school life.

We thrive in all areas of learning in a stimulating environment. We have an indoor learning space and an exciting outdoor space with a "London tube station theme" to promote curiosity and language.

Throughout the year we will enjoy a range of topics and focus on books to base our activities on. There will be focused carpet sessions to include: phonics, shared reading, PE, personal, social and emotional development, Mathematics, as well as Communication and Language.

Through play and focused activities, we develop into enthusiastic and attentive learners, building a foundation of knowledge and skills.

Our team always welcomes families to work in partnership with us. If there are any interesting or amazing things that happen outside of the classroom, please write us a simple note to share this with all of us.
