Welcome to the Marvellous Milne class,Welcome to Marvellous Milne Class,

Being named after the incredible Alan Alexander Milne, our class reflects brilliantly on the journey that we are going to go through in Year 3. He was a popular English author responsible for many fantastic stories and poems-most notably Winnie-the-Pooh. His stories have amazing characters who all have their part to play to make sure everybody can achieve their goals.

The theme of Winnie-the-Pooh describes the importance of maintaining strong relationships, feeling positive and to never give up, summarised with this lovely quote:

You can't stay in your corner of the Forest waiting for others to come to you. You have to go to them sometimes.

Through determination, resilience and encouragement instilled throughout the classroom environment, will we all be able to live up to the strong messages outlined by Milne.

Our mornings begin with English and Mathematics, developing the skills needed to become lifelong learners. There will be opportunities to remain active and creative to ensure a deep love of learning is developed.

We cannot wait to welcome you and begin your exciting journey into Key Stage 2.
