Teacher's Comments

Welcome to the Legendary Lincoln class.

Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States. He was most famous for leading the country during the American Civil War. His leadership in the North helped the country to remain strong and defeat the South, keeping the country united. He also pushed for the freedom of the minorities throughout the nation.

In Lincoln Class, we continue to carry on Lincoln's legacy, as we strongly believe in fairness, equality and celebrating our differences.

Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other.

Abraham Lincoln

In Lincoln Class we believe that it is important to take responsibility for our own success and that resilience, perseverance, positivity and risk taking is vital in order for us to do so.

We encourage children to become critical thinkers and to always ask questions about the world around them. In Lincoln Class we are kind to others and ourselves. We will celebrate and embrace our differences whilst working collaboratively. Encouraging one another to be our best selves.

We cannot wait for a fantastic year ahead!
