Energy Café

In continued support of our focus on climate change and conserving energy, this year we launched our BeDifferent Future Energy Matters project in the second half of the summer term. The aim of this project is to explore forms of climate change; why they are happening and ways that we can prevent them from become worse.

This term, we teamed up with Crew and the Centre for Sustainable Energy to expand our learning and bring about even greater change within the local community.

We invited families to join us and representatives from Merton Council at an Energy Café. The aim of the Energy Café is to provide a welcoming and relaxing space for families to come together and receive expert advice and support on how they can save money and reduce the amount of energy they use.

The team from Crew and Merton Council provided a number of raffle and activity prizes and every child was also given their own certificate to celebrate everyone within the BeDifferent Federation being an Energy Champion!
