Welcome to Year 3 Balham

I am Miss Rasheva, and I am so looking forward to welcoming your child into our Year 3 Balham classroom this year.

This will be my fifteenth-year teaching, many of our families already know me and I am delighted to be back among you after my time away in Sicily.

Our Classroom Promise

What we'll be doing together each day

A part of our day, will centre around mindfulness practice and breathing exercises. Learning how our bodies respond to big feelings and how to bring ourselves back to calmness is a key understanding for a successful learning day.

Every child will be met where they currently sit and gently stretched forward. Myself and my lovely teaching assistants will make sure that your child feel proud of their achievements and progress.

We will all talk about challenges openly, because understanding them is the first step to overcoming them.
