Teacher's Comments

Welcome to Ambitious Archway Class, named after the tube station that is situated underneath the Archway Tower. The famous and ambitious Dick Whittington's statue can be seen in Archway. We too in Archway Class will be extremely ambitious this year, encountering our own journey as we develop and grow into independent learners. So, jump on board and enjoy the ride!

In Archway Class we are always keen to be helpful and kind to each other, have a 'can do' attitude and build on our resilience when we fall off track. Archway Class will be travelling to different destinations this year including learning to write amazing sentences, developing our addition and subtracting skills, engaging with our curriculum theme days and so much more! We will embark on a ride to discover the world around us including the starry night sky, take a trip to discover what makes me, me and the importance of celebrating differences. We will also travel the outdoors to meet the minibeasts and explore the season of Autumn, as well as many more adventures.

This is an exciting time for Archway Class as we begin our journey into full time education. Families are encouraged to be part of their children's learning and are welcome to visit and share this exciting and adventurous journey that awaits Archway Class this year.
